There are always people from Durham Region and Scugog commenting about their municipal or well water tasting and smelling 'funny'. And it certainly does at different times of the year, especially if you're not used to it.

To answer the question of why your water isn't at it's best, the first step is to call for a water analysis.

News of the reach of the effects of plastics and contaminants in our waterways and oceans is never good to hear. Researchers at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia shared some specific findings about microplastics in lobster tails from Canadian waters.
Apparently not contaminated enough to cause great harm to those who consume the lobster infrequently, yet present nonetheless, the lobsters were sampled from several different fishing areas around Nova Scotia.
Microplastics are found throughout the food chain, and are also in water for our homes. Limit your use of plastics wherever you can, and ask us about the right Kinetico systems available for your use to remove these and other common contaminants from your water supply.
