We were very proud to present this $25,000 cheque to the Atlantic Grocery Foundation to help support the Atlantic Children's Hospitals!

This donation was made possible through the work of Atlantic Canadians purchasing our unique "Dig in Do Good 10lb potato bags" from August to October this year.

Our pack shed is looking for help - Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Our Farm needs help getting the spuds out of the ground - hours are 7 days a week weather dependent.
We are looking for equipment operators, truck drivers and graders.

Come on out tomorrow in Bloomfield to fill your boots. We will be in the big red buildings just past Bloomfield Foodland

Come Fill Your Boots

As a thank you to all our fellow islanders who have been so supportive through this potato crisis, some potato growers are opening their storages to our communities to “Come Fill Your Boots” - LITERALLY - with POTATOES!

Foodbanks all over Canada are being supplied with potatoes from PEI, but there’s still many, many more we cannot sell because the mainland USA is still closed to PEI potatoes. Potatoes all over PEI are being destroyed by taking them out of storages and chopping them through snowblowers. They are being spread over fields to freeze.

While we do this, we want to offer our fellow islanders to Come Fill Your Boots from these piles destined for destruction. Whatever you can carry out the door in a bag, box, or boot is free for the taking. Maybe you have never seen a big pile of unwashed potatoes stored in a big warehouse. We encourage you to come out to one of the locations below. At each location there will be some farmers to greet you, show appreciation and help answer any questions you may want to ask.

Come on out to one of these Open House locations Saturday, February 26th from 10am to 2pm.
