Imagine wandering through rows of blooming ranunculus with a mocktail in hand by , live saxophone music playing somewhere in the background, bouquets everywhere, and the smell of spring flowers drifting through the air.

That’s the feeling we’re creating for the Spring Flower Fest.

Not rushed. Not overly polished. Just a beautiful day at the farm celebrating some of the most breathtaking flowers of the season.

There’ll be bouquets ready to bring home, picnic space to relax, a couple of local vendors, and plenty of opportunities to see what happens behind the scenes on a flower farm in spring.

And yes… the ranunculus are worth the hype.

Most people have never seen ranunculus in real life before.

Not the local, freshly cut kind anyway — with layers upon layers of petals that almost don’t look real.

That’s part of what makes the Spring Flower Fest so special. It’s not just a market or a photo spot. It’s a chance to walk through the fields while these flowers are at their absolute peak and see what spring flower farming actually looks like.

There’ll be flowers to wander through, bouquets to bring home, live saxophone music, local vendors, picnic space, and plenty of opportunities to ask all your flower questions.

Fair warning though: this event has a high chance of turning people into flower snobs.

Some flowers are beautiful.
Some flowers turn people into flower snobs.

The Spring Flower Fest is built around those kinds of blooms — the ones that make grocery store bouquets suddenly feel a little disappointing.

Layers of ranunculus, delicate anemones, armfuls of spring colour, music drifting through the field, local vendors, picnic area, and the simple pleasure of wandering a flower farm while everything is waking up for the season.

Come slowly. Stay awhile. Ask questions. Bring a friend.

You might leave with a bouquet — and much higher flower standards.

Some experiences are meant to be wandered through slowly.

This year’s Spring Flower Fest will be centered around the flowers themselves — thousands of ranunculus blooming inside the tunnels, floral-inspired mocktails by , live saxophone music, and space to simply enjoy the beauty of the season.

We’re intentionally keeping the event small and curated with only a handful of vendors so the focus remains on the experience of the flower fields at their peak bloom.

Come walk the tunnels, meet the growers, enjoy a drink among the flowers, and experience a side of flower farming most people never get to see.

Tulips keep us on our toes, without exception, every single year!

But they are absolutely worth it—and honestly, they know it. That’s why they get away with it! 😉

This year, we brought in some new varieties that are just so good.

Pictured here: Backpacker (a lush, double purple), Rosy Diamond (radiating total "old money" elegance), and Sprinkle Dipp (a playful, buttery ivory treat).

Today, these beauties are off to their new homes around St. Lazare!

If you’ve never seen a field of ranunculus in full bloom, this might be the year to come 🌸

By the time Spring Fest arrives on June 6th, thousands of ranunculus should be flowering at the farm — layers upon layers of colour, delicate petals, and some of our favourite flowers we grow all season.

We’ll have fresh bouquets, local vendors, picnic areas to relax and enjoy the farm, live saxophone music drifting through the flowers, and plenty of beautiful corners to wander through at your own pace.

Curious about how these flowers are grown? Throughout the day, you’ll also be able to ask the growers your flower farming questions and learn more about what goes into producing these blooms.

Spring only gives us this moment for a short time, and we’re very excited to share it with you.

Every year, these are the flowers we wait for most.

The very first ranunculus and anemones of the season have started blooming — delicate, layered, and somehow even more beautiful after a long winter.

This year, we have more ranunculus than ever before, and if the weather keeps cooperating, the view at Spring Fest should be spectacular 🌸
