Hey Everyone!

Our Team feels that recently they’ve been fielding a lot of questions about the future of the Farm Market and our Play Area. And while we may not have all the answers, we thought we should maybe shed some light on a few things.

Calder and I (Stephanie), have no plans to close Murphys Farm Market and Bakery, and no plans to permanently close the play area ❤️

To say this summer has been hard would be an understatement. We’ve been trying to run the business while navigating a difficult personal matter. My Mom, Debbie has been fighting a year long battle with cancer and has just recently moved into hospice care.

It’s shifted our priorities around to say the least. And to be honest if it was only the two of us we probably have thrown in the towel, and hung a closed for the summer sign on the door.

Murphys Farm Market and Bakery has continued on only thanks to an incredible team who have been keeping things moving. A team that has stepped up and into roles they were never intended to do and we are beyond grateful for each of them. They are the only reason we’ve been able to keep our doors open.

We are also grateful for the wonderful community of people who continue to support us during this very strange and challenging time. We are doing our best and can’t thank those who have stuck with us enough. THANK YOU for continuing to show up for us, support local, and believe in what we’re building here! ❤️

We are going to do our best to give Fall the attention it deserves and hopefully bring you all an amazing Fall Festival. Opening day details coming soon.

📣 We are sorry to be making this announcement, but after going back and forth about it for some time we have made the decision to close our play area and pick your own for the rest of the summer. Our play area will open again for our Fall Festival in September. Thank you for your understanding!

*Those who purchased Summer Play Passes are still welcome to use their passes and enjoy the private play area
