We’ve just returned from the Grand Re-Opening celebration at the newly renovated Your Independent Grocer in Almonte, and our hearts are full! ❤️🫶❤️

What a beautiful store! Bright, modern, welcoming, and most importantly, filled with an incredible team. Today we were greeted with so many smiles, kind words, and genuine support from both the staff and the customers. The atmosphere was simply amazing!

Congratulations to the entire Your Independent Grocer Almonte team on this exciting new chapter. We wish you continued success, many happy customers, and many wonderful years of serving our community. Thank you for supporting local 🙌businesses and for creating opportunities for local growers like us to connect with our community.

🇨🇦 🥬❤️Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada Day to our amazing customers, partners, followers, friends, and everyone who has been with us on this journey. Whether you’ve supported us, bought our lettuce, or simply cheered us on from afar thank you. 🙏Your support means more than you know.🫶

👌Exactly one year ago, on Canada Day 2025, our greenhouse was nothing more than a steel frame. We had a dream, a lot of hope, and a vision for growing fresh local produce year-round.

👌By the fall, we made our very first deliveries to local grocery stores.

👌Then came winter. It challenged us, but it didn’t break us. Instead, it taught us what needed to be improved so we could continue growing fresh local lettuce through the coldest months.

👌We thought spring would finally be our season of stability. Instead, it became our biggest test. Flooding, including inside the greenhouse, forced us to stop deliveries and start over once again.

🤗Today, we’re back on store shelves, stronger, wiser, and more grateful than ever.

If there’s one thing this journey has taught us, it’s this: don’t give up. Every challenge carries a lesson, and every setback is just another step toward something better. And when someone believes in you, it gives you the strength to keep going.
