FUNDY TAXI

10/13/2026

If you’ve seen a post about Fundy Taxi and Copper Stallion Media — that is NOT us.

We’re a small taxi company based in Amherst, Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦

Someone has created a fake page using our name, our phone number (902-297-8300), and our logo, and is spreading a story that has nothing to do with us.

We’ve reported the page to Facebook. If you have any questions, please call or text us directly at 902-297-8300. We’re happy to talk.

Thank you for checking before believing everything you see online.

A big thank you to everyone who’s been beta testing our new online taxi ordering system through fundytaxi.ca. Your feedback and suggestions have been genuinely helpful, and we’ve already made improvements based on them.

One heads-up: check your spam filter until your email program recognizes our responder emails — you might find them there at first.

Here’s what’s new: when you book a taxi online with Fundy Taxi, you’ll now receive two emails. The first confirms your ride request has been received. The second arrives when your taxi is at your driveway, your place of business, or the store you’re shopping at — letting you know it’s there waiting for you.

And nobody can say they didn’t get your order when you have an email confirmation of it. Makes life easier for everybody.
We really appreciate everyone’s help, and we hope these new features make the process more streamlined. One more thing — during our beta testing period through October, any in-town run booked online gets a one-dollar discount off your fare. Book online, save a dollar, and help us keep improving.”

“New on our website — live Taxi wait times for Amherst.

Dispatch now updates fundytaxi.ca in real time, so before you head out, you can check how long the wait is for a cab. No more guessing, no more calling just to find out.

It’s a small thing, but it saves you time and keeps you in the loop. Check it out at fundytaxi.ca — updated regularly by dispatch.”

“Our taxis get their shine thanks to the Panizo Brothers Detailing crew.

These two young guys come to your location — home or business — with all their own equipment. All you need to provide is a spot to plug in an extension cord and hook up a hose to your water, and they handle the rest.

Interior, exterior, whatever you need — at a reasonable cost, easy to deal with, and they take cash or e-transfer. Best part? You’re supporting young entrepreneurs doing things the right way. Give them a shout and let them make your ride look brand new.”

“Today in Amherst, the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Compliance team joined forces with the Amherst Police Department for a taxi blitz — randomly selecting cabs and sending them to the APD motor pool for a full inspection.

It wasn’t just mechanical: every vehicle, driver’s license, and piece of paperwork was checked top to bottom to make sure everything was legal and fit for the road.

We’re all for it. At Fundy Taxi, we believe every customer deserves a vehicle that’s road-ready, every driver deserves to work in a rig that gets them to their fares and home again at the end of the night, and every motorist on the road deserves to share it with a vehicle they know is mechanically safe.

A big well done to the APD and Nova Scotia Compliance for holding the industry to a higher standard — and a well done to all the companies that successfully passed. Safe vehicles, safe roads, safe drivers. That’s a win for everybody.”
