Turning a workplace injury into purpose. 💜

I’m just starting my journey back to school, and right now, I’m collecting refundable containers and scrap to help fund my own education.

But my goal doesn’t stop at graduation.

I want to keep these fundraising initiatives going and eventually create a nonprofit fund to help others facing barriers like mine pursue higher education and turn their own challenges into opportunities.

I want to create systematic community change by turning waste into resources, broken systems into sustainable support, and small contributions into real opportunities.

My kids are learning hard work, sustainability, and giving back along the way. ♻️

If you’re in Cumberland County, NS and have refundable or scrap you’d like to get rid of, I’d happily take it off your hands.

Calling All Local Businesses!

I'm excited to be working on something I've wanted to create for a long time: a 2027 photography calendar featuring photographs I've captured throughout our beautiful communities, countryside, wildlife, and rural Nova Scotia. A passion I hold near and dear to my heart.

As I plan this project, I'm exploring the possibility of offering Advertising Space to local businesses/farms throughout the calendar. My goal is to create something that people will enjoy displaying in their homes and businesses all year while also giving local businesses an affordable way to stay in front of customers every day. Also to put my art out into the world.

Before moving forward, I'd love to gauge interest.

Would your business be interested in purchasing advertising space in a professionally printed, high quality wall calendar?

If there is enough interest, I'll be putting together advertising packages with details on:

• Ad sizes and placement
• Pricing
• Estimated print quantity
• Distribution plans
• Design specifications

My vision is to create a calendar that not only showcases the beauty of our area through photography but also celebrates and supports the small businesses that help our communities thrive.
