It is also an honour to be awarded the Christopher Dowe Memorial Plaque this year.

With Show & Sale Days nearing, we'd like to extend a huge thank you to last year's buyers for supporting our event, and the agricultural community and industry that we represent.

Thank-you to Nicnat Farm, Jim McInnis Cattle Co., Tuttle & Son's Construction LTD and Carter Logging Ltd for their purchase of the 10th Place Steer, exhibited by Milner Hill Farm.

Kenneth Terris of Milner Hill Farm was also the recipient of the Chris Dowe Memorial Award, presented annually at the Border Classic Beef Show & Sale in honor of Chris Dowe, one of the original directors of the committee.

It is awarded to the exhibitor who displays a high degree of sportsmanship and co-operation. As a competitor, Chris had an outstanding attitude and displayed genuine sportsmanship. This is presented by Bill Dowe on behalf of the Dowe Family.
