Happy New Year. We would like to thank the Ashworth Family for their generous donation as the 2025 Friend of Canadian Simmental Foundation.
With the National YCS Show, CSA and FCSF AGM being held in the Maritimes in 2026, we are excited to announce Timberwood Farms - The Fisher Family as our 2026 Friend of the Foundation.
Nestled in the heart of Cumberland County, Timberwood Farms encompasses more than 1,300 acres of farmland and woodland across three locations. Our family’s roots run deep here—Adelynn and Grace proudly represent the 7th generation to live, work, and maintain the Timberwood land.
At Timberwood Farms, we are dedicated to raising high-quality Simmental cattle, Quarter Horses & Labador Retrievers with a focus on temperament, conformation, soundness, and strong maternal traits. Our cattle herd reflects decades of commitment to thoughtful breeding, careful management, and a passion for the Simmental breed.
We take pride not only in the cattle & horses we raise but also in the accomplishments of our program—both within our local community, other areas of Canada and the United States with our show horses.

Unbelievable day in Regina for these two!
🙌Extremely fortunate to win a Blower & a Fogger this morning in the Kirk Stierwalt Clinic!
🙌Showmanship - 6 runs of Seniors- both girls made it to the finals - ending with a 3rd and 4th overall placing (age 16-21 class) - The announceer recognized us as being sister and being in top 5 overall 🩶
🙌Team Grooming - 5th place overall with Addison Barnett from City View Simmentals!

We are so proud 🫶. Work hard, play hard has always been our approach to life — they truly lived it today. Well done, ladies!
A big thank you to Blaine & Tina for once again lending the girls heifers and for all your continued support. To our family friends; thank you for sending photos and cheering the girls on today; we appreciate this more than you know! 🤍

It’s go time, at the Royal Winter Fair!

We started showing here as youth with 4-H and chaperoning/organizing the the NS 4-H group for years… finally decided in 2022 we were taking the string up for the open show, making this our 4th trip! We love this show, and enjoy all the networking & show experience it brings to our girls and Lynden. We are exciting for Mitch Best this year as well, here with us to showcase his 2 yr old Angus pair!
