Hello, we're the Annapolis Heritage Society! 👋

As we open our doors today for the 2026 summer season, we thought it would be a good time to reintroduce ourselves.

At AHS, we have a purpose to preserve and promote our heritage by making it accessible in ways that inspire curiosity about the people, places, and events that have shaped our community. We do this through our collections, research, interpretive offerings, exhibits, and community-based programming.

This season, our three museums will be open Wednesday-Sunday from 9:30am-4:00pm. Admission is by donation ($5/person recommended). All donations go directly towards maintaining our operations.

While we wait for rain and support our firefighters fighting a massive forest fire only 10kms from our cottage, we have been picking what's left of our garden and canning for the winter months.
Pray for rain and the safety of those people ans animals up in the forest, and for our neighbours in West Dalhousie ❤️🌲👨‍🚒🚒

We are so sad but completely understand that the Government of Nova Scotia has shut down all access to our forests here in the province until we get some much needed rain

Unfortunately, this means that we will not be taking bookings until the restrictions have been lifted ❤️🌲
