BeeCee Farms, is a certified organic, wild blueberry farm in Pleasant Valley, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia. During the harvest season, our BeeCee Farms Wild Blueberry U-Pick operates 7 days a week so you can so you can pick your own organic wild blueberries. NOTE: Please check to confirm that we are open before coming out to pick. We do not pick if it is raining, after a heavy rain, or if there
is heavy dew on the ground. We will post an update each morning to let you know if we are picking in the morning or afternoon. Fresh berries can be kept in the refrigerator for one to two weeks. What should I wear to pick berries? Dress in layers for the weather. Wear closed-toe footwear; sandals are not recommended. Protect yourself from the sun with hats and sunscreen. As you may be walking through long grass, long pants are recommended. If you have allergies to insect bites, please prepare accordingly, (antihistamines, epi-pen, etc.)
2. Is drinking water available? No, bring your own water.
3. Are washroom facilities available? No, but there are woods nearby. :)
4. Can I bring pets? Please leave your pets at home. Pets are not allowed in the fields and we ask that you not leave them in your vehicles.
5. How can I pay? We accept cash or cheques.
