Lochaber Growers is a farming cooperative based in scenic Lochaber Valley, Nova Scotia. Situated at the head of the lake, it consists of four individual farms, that have joined forces to produce a weekly Food Box, or CSA (community supported agriculture) In 2020 we had 105 CSA members! Our aim is to grow the best tasting and most healthy food for our customers. Through our cooperation, we hope to
enhance our own food production, while inviting and encouraging new farmers in our area. The farmers who make up Lochaber Growers are a collaboration of old and wise, and young and wily. QuinnFarm - John and Bonnie Quinn are known for their greenhouse tomatoes, sweet corn, lettuces and basil. The Avant Gardener - Fenn Martin has gained notoriety for his Garlic brand. Homi Garden - Gyungbo Noh is a leader in Asian cuisine including delicious Nappa cabbages, mustard greens and ginger. Six Maples Farm - Alicia and Danny King provide farm fresh eggs for our CSA. Working together, we are able to provide a full complement of fresh vegetables, eggs and berries! Drop-in anytime, to see our farms at work!
