Brutus needs a new home.

This four year old, refrigerator shaped, North Country Cheviot ram is a proven breeder and VERY good at his job the last three years. I'm moving away from NCC and it's time to bring a new ram in.

Brutus was a bottle baby and is very friendly goof (he enjoys being hand fed treats, despite how messy an eater he is) and is (all things considered) very gentle for a ram. As usual, turning your back on a ram is an invitation for a good bump but he is not otherwise aggresive. Used to sharing pasture and pen with his lambs and a couple of ewes. Plays nice with goats but needs to be the boss (of course).

He still has quite a few years left in him and I would like to see him land at a farm where he can continue to "ply" his trade in comfort.

Weighs in at around 220lb. Purebred but not registered. Located 10 minutes south of Antigonish, Nova Scotia (in Ashdale). Pickup only, delivery not available. Shorn, dewormed, and feet done in May 23. Healthy and active.

Breakfast time for the lambs on a rainy Sunday morning.

They've had their breakfast mash and were just waiting for the outside door to open. To Romp in the field? Munch on tasty pasture? Play with their lamb friends?

No.

To run into the sheep pen and see if the lambs missed any of their supper from last night 🤦🏻‍♂️

Barely a day old and already complaining about the trip home.

The morning morale check before a load of fluffy-butts head outside to pasture for the day.

After exhaustive research, Mr. Marshmallow has determined that his elaborate disguise is sufficient to earn him a second breakfast by tagging along with the lambs.

I'm not quite sure what all the Sheep think of this, but so far it seems as though as long as they get their share they don't mind him joining in.

Meanwhile, the rest of the goats were standing at the edge of the pasture, wondering what craziness this is.

This is a Spork. This is the conversation we have every morning. I think Spork is getting tired of the routine.

It's another messy breakfast time for the mommas and their lambs at the start of a beautiful, cool, July day.
