We've got another tasty lager ready for you on Friday - Umwelt! This 4.8% ABV North German Pils is crisp and a little bitter, brewed with Tettnanger hops for a nice floral and earthy noble hop character.

Umwelt gets its name from the idea that each person and thing is living in it's own reality, and that no two things experience the world the same. We've always thought the name was fitting for a beer because everyone experiences it differently. No two people will taste the same thing, even though it's the same beer. Some people will smell floral aromatics, some people will smell a gentle match stick sulfur aroma from our cold and slow fermentation, some people will taste a beer that tastes like a beer. At the end of the day, who cares? It's a beer and it's tasty.

We had another great night of Co****le last night!

Our Cold Hole Corn Bear league is on Monday nights at 6pm! Games are played in teams of 2, sign up as a team for $5 on the website. No need to attend every week, come whenever it works for you! We also have the BBQ out on Monday nights for a dinner option 🌭

New Beer Release! 🍻

No String Attached is a New Zealand IPA brewed with our pals at Stray Dog Brewing in Orleans. Collabs are an opportunity to try something new, so we broke out our cereal cooker pot and cooked up a bunch of rice to add to the mash. What this does is lean out the beer, contributing to the overall drinkability and allowing the hops to shine through a pretty neutral base. It also decreases the free amino nitrogen in the beer and increases shelf life, but that's getting into the weeds.

We brewed No String Attached with Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka for big flavours of tropical and citrus fruit. This beer is a truly easy drinking 6.5% ABV treat. 🍻
