Saturdays: Carp Farmers Market, Carp Fairgrounds 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM from May to October (CLOSED for the season)
Westboro at Byron Linear Park (Richmond Rd and Golden Ave) from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM (May-October) (CLOSED for the season)

Sundays: Ottawa Farmer's Market, Aberdeen Square, Lansdowne Park

Needham's is pleased to announce we will be repeating the super successful fundraisers in the corn maze to help local sports teams raise money for their team. The last Friday and Saturday evenings in September and the following 4 Friday and Saturday evenings in October your team can haunt the maze at night for glowstick flashlight maze nights. First come first served those particular 10 spots. Target is Arnprior, Renfrew, Almonte and Carleton Place under 16 sports. Contact us to reserve one of those night or for further details.

A little different look Carp Farmers' Market this morning - our vine crops are producing and we want ya to see that. We have giant trolley full of super sweet cantaloupes and some of the darkest green perfect pickles we have ever produced. Yellow watermelons will be there next weekend - better late than never!

Here is the block of corn we are into now - I dont think i have ever had a chuck this size so green and so consistent in height - would bet every stalk is within 2 inches of each other. When all things go right good things happen - don't let the huge cobs scare you away this is the best corn we have had to this point this season, and thankfully it peaked in time for the weekend! Give the plant everything it needs and the results speak for themselves - at all our stands this weekend as well as and Ottawa Farmers' Market as well as the home store at the farm. Enjoy!!

I convinced a couple people canning beans to wait for next planting - here is why. First planting each year always smaller plants with curved beans - second planting typically straighter as they had much nicer weather to grow tall. If you are canning beans let us know! Dill is about perfect now also and pickling cucumbers coming good too!!

Every 5 years or so i grow some brassicas - we got good moisture this year for that type of crop but the wild heat we had in June isn’t going to allow these guys to get very big so we will jam as many heads in a 4 L basket and sell for 5 dollars - this afternoon at both Arnprior stands and if not all gone tomorrow Carp Farmers' Market

Slicing cucumbers, zucchini, green tomatoes and red potatoes also now available. Pickling cucumbers and dill starting to add up and will take orders now.
