Martin's Apiary, Athabasca, AB Family farm north of Athabasca with the focus on honey bees. Offering a variety of raw & unfiltered honeys, beeswax, candles, and bee pollen.

Pastured eggs & pork and grass finished lamb also available. About our Apiary:
We run a small Apiary just outside of Athabasca alongside the Athabasca Riverbanks. The bees are kept in traditional hives and our hive management philosophy is keeping everything as natural as possible. We exclusively sell raw honeys. To keep all the health benefits in the honey, we do not apply high heat. The honey is

only strained, which keeps healthy propolis, wax and pollen particles in the honey. At our Apiary we like to keep the carbon footprint as small as we can and therefor use glass jars for the honey as much as possible. These can be reused in your own home, recycled or if you are local, you can come back with them and get them refilled.

Little Moe 🤎
He changed so much already throughout his 2.5 month. His face now all dark where it was light brown with just dark around the eyes and nose before. And that little brown tuft on his head. There is no denying the highland in him anymore.
He’s always so curious, and look at that milk snout!!
We think he would make an excellent addition to a small breeding herd. He’s part dexter/jersey and part highland. He would be everything we wanted in a bull if we wouldn’t own his mom…

This is probably our lightest colored honey ever 💛

Personally I am super excited about this batch since these hives are sitting in a sea of yellow alfalfa, which to be honest I have never seen before!!

And the taste - 10 out of 10!
