We're taking pre-orders on Chickens and Turkeys for this summer!

Both will be whole, frozen birds!

Chickens will be $3.99/lb. We aim for 8-10lb chickens. Sometimes they're bigger or smaller. We do ask for a non-refundable deposit of $10 per chicken.

Turkeys are $3.75/lb. We aim for larger turkeys (15-20lbs). We ask for a non-refundable deposit of $30/turkey.

Deposits would be applied against your final bill.

Date for Pickup will be determined by availability of the processor. We do not have additional freezer space to store ordered birds, so we kindly ask you to pick your order up in a timely manner!

They're back! With the warm weather, and the addition of new hens to our flock, we've got eggs for sale again!

It is self-serve at the front of our house on Donnybrook Line in the fridge.

They're $3.50/dozen, or buy 3 dozen for $10!
(Per visit - discount doesn't apply over multiple visits)

***If wanting a large quantity of eggs, please message us. We'll do our best to help you with your larger order. We'd appreciate this, as it would help prevent our fridge from being depleted and not having eggs stocked for other customers!

We have a HIND quarter of beef available for February (Meat will be ready for pickup in March)!

This would include all cuts in the photo below. As this is custom cut, if there was something you wanted different, we can work with you on it!

Total price is based on hanging weight. This is before any cuts are made, meaning it is not the amount of meat you'd take home. Our price includes custom cut and paper wrap.

We will finally be restocked with Beef this week for all those who were asking!

Ground Beef is available at $7/pound.

(Yes, we've had to raise our price. Are we happy about it? No. We've had to do this for a number of reasons - including the rising costs in inputs and an increase in processing. Do we want to raise the price? No, but if our business is going to be successful and continue, we need to. This also allows us to keep our family farm alive and to continue to offer you - our wonderful customers - great, delicious, locally-raised products!)

Steaks are also available, and pricing depends on the cut. We have Tenderloin, ribeyes, Prime Rib, Striploin, and Sirloin steaks all available!

No eggs for sale for a while!

With the cold temperatures and shortened daytime light periods, our ladies have decided they need a break and have slowed up their egg production. So much so, that they're only producing enough for our family, so there will be no eggs for sale for a bit!

When we do get more again, we'll put an update back on here!

We've been pretty silent on here! So here's an update about beef, pork, chickens and turkeys!

GROUND BEEF - you guys seem to love it, as we can't keep it in stock! We are currently sold out. I'm anticipating some arriving in early December, but not a whole pile! The price is now $6.50/lb for paper-wrapped, frozen ground beef. Vac Packaging is still an option at an additional $0.50/lb, but we would require you to pre-order and pay a deposit for this service.

STEAKS - we still have steaks available in vac-packed packages. Currently in stock, We have Tenderloin, striploin, and Sirloin. We are sold out of ribeye and Prime Rib.

PORK - we have a very limited amount of pork products available. We have opted to move to custom-cut pork only, as we were having difficulties moving some cuts of pork. If you'd like custom pork in the future, please reach out and we can discuss this!

CHICKENS AND TURKEYS - Much like pork, in 2026, we are only going to raise pre-ordered birds. If you want any, please contact us now with your order! We don't generally bring chicks in until spring when it warms up, so there will be another post about this towards the end of winter/start of spring!

We are still offering CUSTOM CUT MIXED QUARTERS OF BEEF!

We have a half pig available for custom cut! If you're interested, send us a message!

Price is $3.95/lb, based on hanging weight. This includes cut and paper wrapping, and up to 20lbs of sausage. Smoking and any overage of sausage are extra charges.

Deadline to reserve your half is Thursday, September 11th. We are expecting the meat to be ready for pickup from our farm the week of October 6th!

Every year we have made a donation to local non-profit organizations. This year we opted to support Fishes and Loaves Goderich , who are a group of volunteers that prepare and organize monthly meals for local families and people who might need one due to their circumstances. We fully back organizations such as these, as we don't believe anyone should go hungry! So glad to have helped another great organization, and thanks to all the volunteers!

Thanks to Deborah Bailey who took charge of our meal in August. It meant I enjoyed a meal off, no sleepless night the night before and no multiple trips to the grocery store to get supplies in! We want to thank Maitland Acres, north of Auburn, who generously donated all the sausages for our meal. Using the gift card from Zehrs certainly helped lower our costs, many thanks for these generous donations from these two businesses. Our team was busy prepping, cooking, and packaging up our meals ready for our clients to pick up. See you next month!

Effective July 1, 2025 -

paper wrapped ground beef is $6/lb.

Vacuum-packed ground beef is $6.50/lb and must be ordered in advance (as we are no longer stocking Vacuum-packed ground beef).

Our next restock of paper wrapped ground beef is anticipated to be just before the long weekend!
