When it rains, it pours! The Saskatoon Headhunters 2026 comp just wrapped and I quad medalled for the first time in almost a year! ...and just a couple of days later, I've now taken two more medals - this time at the 2026 annual comp: GOLD for my new batch of blonde ale and SILVER for my hazy IPA. What a week! Thanks to the club for hosting a great comp and of course a big thanks to my club for being awesome. I'm definitely glad that I decided to brew that fresh blonde ale batch. The new (and somehow) improved batch of "BIG Krush!" (Hazy IPA) is on tap. After some slight adjustments to the grain bill and dry hop schedule, it's even closer to perfection. Testing out Saturated yeast from was also a great call when I was out of my go to strain...now I'm not sure if I can go back! 😂 It's a juice bomb thanks to the and it finishes smooth. **r **r **rsnob

"Man, I Say You He Dead!" (Kentucky common) is back on tap and cleaner than ever thanks to my updated fermentation schedule. This batch features all the textbook ingredients along with some Cluster hops from and a healthy dose of BRY-97 yeast. It might be my favourite batch yet. Better bottle some soon before the keg kicks... **r **roclock
