Sometimes I make a dish an I surprise myself with home delicious it turned out, and this was one of them! Although it’s not picture worthy and I wasn’t planning a post, I just had to post how simple and delicious a few ingredients can be. I simply roasted whole Korean sweet potatoes, once soft I cut in half, seared each side on butter, topped with a slice of salty and strong French soft cheese, topped with fried egg and flaky sea salt.

Apple fritter focaccia!! Sweet, soft inside and crispy on the outside. Glazed goodness without the fried fritter.

How to roll rice paper pita. I made a filling by sautéing 2 leeks, 1lb oyster mushrooms and two diced potatoes, seasoned with salt, pepper and thyme. You can fill these with some many different options.

Cabbage rolls stuffed with beef and rice, roasted in tomato sauce till tender and delicious.
Unlike my traditional Serbian recipe using sauerkraut along with smoked meat, this recipe used fresh green cabbage, sautéed beef with onions, rice and tomato sauce. Both are delicious but nothing beats the original tradition recipe.
