🍓 A Quick Update from the Patch: It’s All Up to Mother Nature! 🍓

​We know everyone is incredibly eager for fresh, juicy strawberries, but if there’s one thing farming teaches us, it’s that the berries run on Mother Nature’s clock—not ours! 🕰️✨

​With the late spring we’ve had here in Ontario, the local climate has kept things moving a little slower than usual. We can’t control the weather, but we are watching the fields with a lot of hope. We’ve officially gone from beautiful blossoms to tiny green berries! Now, we just need a good mix of steady rain and warm sunshine to help them sweeten up and catch up. ☀️🌧️

​🛒 In the Farm Store...

​Because our own fields are playing catch-up, we may potentially have fresh strawberries sourced from a fellow local farm available in the store to help satisfy those cravings early!

Looking to elevate your next corporate event or team appreciation night? 🌾✨

​Last night, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting a private customer appreciation evening for a local wealth management team, and it was nothing short of magic.

​The evening kicked off in our beautiful new outdoor dining area with an incredible catered spread from The Longhorn Smokehouse—featuring a premium menu of smoked brisket, smoked chicken, fresh garden salad, potato salad, brioche buns, and a special taste of our signature Farmer’s Gold snacks.

​But a corporate event at the farm is so much more than just a great meal. Our guests:

​Connected with nature: They caught a glimpse of our beekeeper moving hives for the season, watched hummingbirds in the garden, and even spotted a bald eagle soaring overhead.

​Got hands-on: Everyone participated in an interactive potting class, learning about different herbs and creating custom take-home herb pots.

​Unwinded in style: We wrapped up the evening feeding the longhorn cattle just as the calves were running zoomies through the pasture, all under a stunning sunset with a hot air balloon drifting in the distance (swipe to see the view!).
