Pheasantdale Cattle Company

As we approach this Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, it’s hard to put into words the overwhelming feeling of thankfulness and gratitude to the friends in our industry like the Noble and Payne families. Last night was a record sale for our family with Pheasantdale Ms Sammie 127N selling at Evolution Vol. 6 for $32,000 to our friend and fellow cattleman Garth Cutler at Circle G Simmentals. We truly can’t put into words how thankful we are for everyone’s trust in our program and thank you to all those who showed interest in 127N last night. It doesn’t escape us how lucky we are every day to live this life that we love or the important people we have in our lives.

Have you ever wondered how we work on 14 bred heifers all at once? Well.. thanks to our new drone we can show you! The girls are busy settling in for the long run and developing for the 49th Annual Simmsational Sale on December 10th at Johnstone Auction Mart in Moose Jaw.

It won't be long before this group of gals have their school picture day with our dear friend Erin Yewsiuk Photography. Feel free to stop by the ranch anytime for viewing!

We are absolutely stoked about the development of Pheasantdale Ms Sammie 127N. She brings two of the best breeding specimens in the Simmental breed together, HLTS Sammie and SVS Tycoon. Watch for her on Thursday October 8th at Evolution Vol.3, Lloydminster SK. We wanted to say Thank you so much to the crew at Black Gold Simmentals for giving us the opportunity to put Sammie 127N in their sale.

We finished yesterday’s silage adventure with tarping the pile while it rained but we’re back for another full day of chopping, hauling and pushing the pile!

08/14/2026

We’re all hands on deck for silage season, if we can hold the rain away for the rest of the day and tomorrow!
