Father's Day prep is on! We have started some whisky aged ribeyes, and red wine soaked striploin and tenderloin. All Prime and AAA grade Ontario beef! These were a smash hit over May 2-4 and the reviews were great, so be sure to order yours ahead so you get what you need!

The weekend is here! A little bit of rain this morning, but it's supposed to clear up and hit barbecue weather by dinnertime tonight. Plenty of great options in the butcher cases today! Bison ribeyes, lamb speducci, chicken skewers, bone marrow burgers, veal chops, Miami short ribs, 9 flavours of fresh sausage including Tamshire pork sausage with honey and chopped pecans, and of course the crowd favourite root beer sausage!

Fresh samosas are back from the kitchen, as well as chickpea salad, mango lassi, bacon + chive scalloped potatoes, ham + aged cheddar quiche, risotto balls with peas + prosciutto, and lots of other great options.

For lunch we have the classic steak + cheese, the double smash burger, and the smoked brisket sandwich with an assist from .

We're running it back! Smoked brisket sandwich, prepared for us by our friends over at ! Thick, hand cut slices of hot, smoky, juicy, melt in your mouth Ontario brisket with pickled onions, spicy mustard, and our housemade maple + ancho chile barbecue sauce, all stacked on a toasted potato brioche bun from .

Lots and lots of great stuff in the case today, snapper sausages we made in collaboration with , Tamshire sausages with honey and chopped pecans, fresh veal, lamb speducci, tomahawks, porterhouses, you name it. Come grab some goodies for your PA day weekend with the kids!

HIND QUARTER X JOHNNY'S FRESH FISH

Something special out of the sausage press this week! A collaboration between Hind Quarter and ! Pacific snapper sausages with garlic, fresh lemon zest, dill, and a hint of smoked paprika. After you grill or pan fry these bad boys up, we recommend topping them with fish friendly toppings like tartar sauce, coleslaw, and maybe a little hot sauce to kick it up!

Available at both stores in limited quantities. Come grab some while they last!

Counters are looking tight today! Souvlaki style marinated chickens, honey pecan wings, crossbred Tamshire pork chops, bone marrow burgers, dry aged ribeyes, t-bones, porterhouse steaks, and tomahawks, picanhas, beer brats, British bangers, and a cornucopia of delicious cuts from the butchers.

From the kitchen we have watermelon Greek salad, buttermilk coleslaw, lemon brined chicken salad, fresh lasagnas, butter chicken, mac + cheese and plenty more coming out today!

For the lunch menu we have the classic steak + cheese and our double smash burger. It's a beautiful day and BBQ season is in full swing, see you soon!

A selection of fun items as we head into a sunny, beautiful weekend! First we have a boneless lamb loin roast from .farms, followed by a crossbred Tamshire pork rib chop from .

From the beef case we have sriracha lime flank steaks, dry aged t-bones and wing steaks raised by , and top sirloin baseball steaks from regenerative ranchers .

Lastly we have some delicious Piri Piri sausages made with our own special pepper sauce blend, smoked spices and diced onions!

We are proud to partner with small Ontario farmers, and strive to bring you the best tasting, cleanest products we can. Good things grow in Ontario!

The weekend is here! Lots of good stuff around to be had. Hanger steaks, grass fed + finished ground beef, sausage pastry pinwheels, porchetta, souvlaki, Miami short ribs, dry aged t-bones, smoker ready short ribs, Guinness + smoked cheddar sausages, and plenty more from the butchers.

The kitchen has been putting some fun new things over the past couple weeks, check out new items like samosas, fried veggie spring rolls, and mango lassi! Lots of the classics on hand too, lasagnas, lamb + Guinness stew, steak bourguignon pie, spicy thai red curry chicken, poblano cheddar cornbread are all big hits!

For lunch we have the classic steak + cheese, the double smash burger and the pineapple jerk pulled pork. See you soon!

Some shots of cool stuff from around the shop today. Whisky wonderland sausages lead the way! Made with the trim from our whisky ribeyes from last week along with what else but more whisky, smoked paprika, horseradish, and fresh herbs.

Fresh handmade vegetable spring rolls are another new offering from our chefs, then a few more things from the butchers- bone marrow burgers, and in slide 4 we have some fantastic dry aged ribeyes.

Last but not least we have some nitrite free guanciale and pancetta from made right here in Ontario.

Steak and cheese, double smash burger, and pineapple jerk pulled pork are all on the menu for lunch!
