TWO YEARS OF CORR BLIMEY
Two years ago, we opened the doors to Corr Blimey with a dream, a lot of hard work, and honestly, no idea just how special this journey would become.
Today, as we celebrate our 2nd anniversary, we’re feeling incredibly grateful.
Corr Blimey is so much more than a shop to us. It has become a little community filled with familiar faces, friendly conversations, laughs, memories, and so many amazing customers who have made these past two years so special.
Every time you walk through our doors, place an order, recommend us to a friend, share one of our posts, or simply stop by for a chat you are a part of the reason we’re here today.
And what an incredible two years it has been. We’ve been incredibly honoured to have our little shop recognized along the way.
In 2025, we were thrilled to receive the Readers’ Choice Award as the Diamond Winner for Best Specialty Food Store in Barrie.
Then, in 2026, we were honoured to receive the Canadian Choice Award for Specialty Food Products.
These moments are incredibly special to us, but what makes them even more meaningful is knowing that our customers helped make them possible. Your support, your votes, your recommendations, and your continued belief in our small business mean more than we could ever put into words.
There have been long days, stressful days, exciting days, and plenty of moments where we wondered if we were doing everything right. But every kind word, every returning customer, and every “we’re so glad you’re here” has reminded us exactly why we started.
To everyone who has supported Corr Blimey over these past two years. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Whether you’ve been with us since the very beginning or found us just recently, you have played a part in our story, and we are genuinely so grateful.
We started this journey hoping to create a little piece of home for people who missed their favourite British treats.
We never imagined it would become something that means this much to us.
Two years down, and we’re only just getting started.
