Things are getting a little CRUSTY in the kitchen at Bayfield Berry Farm! 😂👩‍🍳 We’re baking up a storm, and our team is busy making all your Thanksgiving favourites!

Our season starts with the first haskaps… and ends with quince. 💛
And the quince is finally out!

Quince is one of those old-fashioned fruits you don’t see very often anymore. It has an amazing fragrance — somewhere between an apple and a pear. It’s firm and tart when raw, but once cooked, the flavour and aroma really come alive.
We grow our quince right here on the farm, and you’ll find it in a few different ways:

🍯 Quince Jam
🥃 Quince Schnapps
🍎 Pick Your Own Apples is still open!
Come out for some fall apple picking while the season lasts.

We also have lots of our own apples and pears in the Farm Store. 🍎🍐

From haskaps to quince, it’s been another long growing season here at the farm. Come by and enjoy these last few weeks of harvest.

The cooler mornings are bringing on more apples, and we now have McIntosh, Gala, Cortland and Honeycrisp ready for Pick Your Own. 🍎

There are still a few fall raspberries available too. They’re limited, but fall raspberries are darker, sweeter and full of flavour.

The Bistro is open, along with tastings of our fruit wines and hard ciders. You can also find us today at the Sarnia, Goderich and Komoka farmers’ markets.

And yes—the pumpkins are out at the farm store ! 🎃

Come pick your own apples, find a few of the season’s last fall raspberries, and slow down over a tasting of our fruit wines and hard ciders. 🍷🍂
