Kurbis Country Market We are proud to also sell many other local products, pet food and livestock feed. Kurbis Country Market was started by Rick and Heather Kurbis in 2007.

Kurbis Country is a family owned and operated farm, producing naturally grown vegetables, free run eggs, homemade bread, pickles and preserves and smoked bacon and sausage. They began by growing and selling vegetables off their farm and it has since grown to include much more. They now raise numerous farm animals, producing free run eggs, pastured pork, grass fed beef and free run chicken. All of

which are available year round from their farm market. They also make smoked bacon and sausage, homemade bread, sauerkraut, pickles and jam. Naturally grown vegetables is still their specialty, with over 30 types of vegetables grown on their farm. For those of you who raise your own animals and grow your own food, they also supply pet food, livestock feed and supplements and have a greenhouse with all your plant and gardening supplies. We now carry glyphosate free flour and all our homemade bread is made with the same flour!

Did you know that most Canadian wheat is sprayed with roundup before harvest. This kills the plant, allowing it to dry faster for an earlier harvest. But unfortunately it leaves small amounts of glyphosate residue in our wheat products. Some people who think they are sensitive to gluten find that when they go to places like Europe where this practice is banned, they can eat bread again with no issues. Its worth a try!

Milkweed is a favorite plant for the monarch butterfly caterpillar. Im always impressed how they find the milkweed, even when its only a few plants, sometimes overgrown with weeds. Lol
This pic is from a previous summer, they're not out yet. But I do have 6 packs of milkweed available in the greenhouse if you want to help feed them too.
