Dog Day at The Village Taphouse in West Bedford, tomorrow, all day.

Dogs are always welcome on our patio, but tomorrow they're allowed inside with you. Full run of the room, best seat in the house, all of it.

Dress them up if that's your thing. Let them meet a few new friends. Or come without a dog and just accept whatever cuddles come your way. Both are valid reasons to be here.

We're open on Labour Day, and Monday Night Trivia goes ahead at 7:30pm.

Tonight is a good one to try if you've never played. It's just for fun, no points, no pressure. The Fall Season starts collecting points next Monday, so tonight is the low-stakes way to see how it all works before it counts.

Bring a friend or two, grab a table, and find out how much useless information you've been carrying around.

The Fall Season of Monday Night Trivia starts this Monday at 7:30pm at The Village Taphouse in West Bedford.

Your hosts this season are Anthony, Martina and Tim. Two working Halifax actors with credits that keep growing, and the guy who owns the place. All three know how to run a room.

Points don't start counting until September 14th, so there's still time to round up your smartest friends and settle on a team name you can say out loud without wincing.

One thing to plan for: teams are capped at 5 to 6 players. Bigger group? Split into two teams. It's more fun that way, and now you have someone specific to beat.

West Bedford's Favourite Trivia Venue, 4 years running. 52 teams played last season, and the standings came down to the final night.

Long weekend hours at The Village Taphouse in West Bedford.

Sunday we're open until 9pm. If you've got a group that wants to stretch the evening out a bit longer, give us a call and we'll stay open for you.

Monday we're open 3pm to 11pm, and the Fall Season of Monday Night Trivia kicks off at 7:30pm. Teams of 5 to 6, free to play, 19+. Bigger group? Split into two teams and make it interesting.
