For my upcoming class at the , I didn’t just write a recipe—I drew it. This little guide is your cheat sheet to mastering « holubky » the Slovak way.
We’ll spend a cozy afternoon rolling, laughing, and filling our pans. You’ll leave with a full pan to bake at home, a full stomach, and my illustrated recipe with instructions—so you never forget the moves.

This isn’t a preset menu—it’s a choose-your-own-adventure dinner for pick-up on Easter Sunday (April 20th). Pick what you love, skip what you don’t, and leave the cooking to me!

🍲 White Borscht – A creamy, slightly tangy soup with sausage, potato, topped with hard-boiled eggs, and fresh herbs.

🍖 Czech Easter Stuffing – Hearty bread stuffing infused with smoky ham, spring herbs, and a touch of golden butter.

🥟 Potato & Aged Cheddar Pierogi – Our famous all dressed pierogi stuffed with potato and Mapledale aged cheddar tossed in caramelized onion butter sauce, topped with wood smoked bacon and green onions with a side of sour cream

🥬 Cabbage Rolls – Tender cabbage leaves stuffed with seasoned pork and rice, simmered in a sweet-and-tangy tomato sauce.

You can now grab our frozen bags of pierogi at Fawnover Market in Carrying Place! Cook them yourself at home for the freshest experience and for the extra convenience we added a packet of our butter sauce so you can have an easy meal ready in no time! They also make a great side dish for special occasions so now is the time to stock up! 🎄 😋 🍽️ 👩‍🍳 💕

For a third year in a row, our popular & delicious Slovak Christmas Dinner Experience is available for preorder again!
This is a five course preset dinner menu featuring from scratch prepared items using traditional recipes passed down from chef Kristina’s family in Slovakia. To order click on our link in bio.
You can choose a dinner for four or two people, or add as many dinners in your basket as needed for the size of your party!
Pickup dates this year are Tuesday, December 24th or Wednesday, December 25th between 3 pm - 6 pm. Because Tuesdays and Wednesdays are not our usual days of operation you will have to select your time slot for « Friday » between 3 pm - 6 pm and then indicate either December 24th or 25th as your preferred date in the curbside pick up note box during checkout. Contact us directly if you need an alternate pick up time or help with placing your order. Please note our menu contains nuts, gluten and dairy. We are not able to do substitutions at this time.
Menu:

Homemade Christmas wafers served with honey and freshly pressed garlic.

Kapustnica - A special Christmas soup made with smoked ham, sauerkraut, wild mushrooms and dried plums.

Chicken schnitzels (4 pcs) with lemon and homemade potato salad - tender pieces of marinated chicken breast hand breaded and fried to golden perfection served with a side of lemon and a traditional Russian style potato salad made with pickles, onions, eggs, mayo, carrots and peas.

Pierogi - 32 pieces of our famous potato and aged cheddar pierogi slathered in a caramelized onion and butter sauce served with bacon, green onions and sour cream.

Dessert - A box of three kinds of Christmas cookies and treats - Linzer cookies filled with raspberry jam, Hazelnut shortbread style cookies and chocolate coconut squares.

The new Pinched container at ’s Commissary is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 12-6 pm! This week we will be focusing on our famous schnitzel and pierogi plates and possibly some new additions like potato latkes ( AKA Zemiakove Placky)! If you’re coming for pierogi make sure to come early because they’ve been going fast, and we only have a limited amount each day!
