Wow ❤️
As I reflect back on the first long weekend of the season, my heart is so full.
This past weekend, we welcomed our very first young POP UP vendor at the farmstand on Highway 37, 8 year old Theo, who set up shop selling lemonade to help save for new hockey equipment. What happened next was something pretty special.
You all showed up.
Not only did this amazing young man meet his goal, you helped him absolutely smash it. More importantly, you reminded me what community truly means.
Community is neighbours helping neighbours. It is cheering each other on, building relationships, encouraging dreams, and creating the kind of family feeling that makes a small town so special.
Watching everyone support Theo, stop for a lemonade, share kind words, and celebrate his hard work filled my heart in a way I cannot quite describe.
So… we are opening the door to more young entrepreneurs ❤️
Starting this summer, we want to welcome one aspiring young entrepreneur each Saturday at our Homestead location on Highway 37. We are just working on start dates.
Want to apply?
Here is what we are looking for:
🌱 Ages 12 and under
🌱 A simple business plan (written in crayon is absolutely acceptable 😉)
🌱 A goal they are working toward
🌱 A different homemade product to sell
🌱 They must be excited to man their own booth and sell their creations
Whether it is a baked good, crafts, handmade treasures, or a creative idea we have not even imagined yet, we want to help young dreamers build confidence, learn responsibility, and experience what community support truly feels like.
Theo reminded us that sometimes the smallest stands can make the biggest impact.
Thank you for making our first long weekend of the season one we will never forget ❤️🌱
Interested? Send me a message and tell us about your young entrepreneur!
