I share the big moments, the funny moments and sometimes the really hard ones.

But most of life actually happens in between all of that.

Regular Sundays. Kids coming and going. Grandkids underfoot. Animals needing something. Everybody talking at once.

Nothing particularly exciting.

And someday, these will probably be the days I miss most. ❤️

Nova is thoughtful, sensitive, ridiculously smart and always thinking.

Iris is funny, fearless, strong-willed and ready to take on absolutely anybody.

Watching these two grow up together is going to be an adventure.

I talk about missing Mom because that’s part of my life now.

But grief can sometimes make you forget that before you were missing someone, you were busy living life with them.

There was laughter. Arguments. Inside jokes. Phone calls. Stories. Opinions I definitely didn’t ask for. 😂

I currently have a ridiculous number of ready-made tumblers sitting here.

Not because nobody likes them.

Because apparently my marketing strategy has been:

1. Make tumbler.
2. Think it’s cute.
3. Put it away.
4. Never show anybody again. 😂

Excellent business strategy, really.

So I’m working on that part. 😂

I genuinely don’t know how that’s possible.

Babies change so quickly that sometimes you don’t notice it happening until you look back at a picture from a month ago and realize just how much they’ve grown.
