Originating in Taiwan in the 1980s, it began as a creative mix of tea, milk, and chewy tapioca pearls. Whether it was first brewed in Taichung or Tainan, its joyful spirit quickly spread across Asia and beyond. At Pearl Bubble Tea, we honour these roots by using freshly imported tea leaves from Taiwan and crafting each drink with care. We’re not a franchise—we’re a local family and small business from the Bay of Quinte. For us, this store is about sharing culture, building community, and bringing a little warmth, comfort, and joy to your day—one cup at a time.
