Key Hill MS Halley 3*M GP84
Yearling first freshener

Sire - Moon Station SS Cdn Special +S EX90
Dam - GCH Key Hill DD Uptown Girl 2*M 2*P VG89 Select Doe

I see a lot of things I love in Halley and a few things I’d change, just like any doe here. She has the will to milk just like her whole dam’s line does, and she does so with no complaints. She earned her *M earlier this summer and is currently on the 305. I’m looking forward to seeing a second freshening on her with more capacity as a 2 year old!

Halley came to almost every show we attended this year with the exception of Millarville and placed well. With some more time and maturity, I think she’s going to continue to improve and be a really lovely doe

She had triplets this year - 2 does and a buck - sired by Better Wayz Heart Throb *B +*S and both daughters have been retained (Key Hill HT Chaos Theory and Key Hill HT Lovestruck Trouble)

Halley will be bred to Agape’s Prize Drk Syde O Moon in December for May kids

Yearling first freshener

Juno is the littermate to Luna, who I posted yesterday. I knew when they were born last year that I’d be keeping both sisters here for at least a couple of years. Their dam Luxe, was one of my favourite does born here on our farm, but she was unfortunately too tall to keep around with the height of our bucks.

Juno had her show ring debut at about 3 months old last year at the CGS West National Show in Rimbey under Judge Kirt Schnipke. She walked away with Junior National Reserve Champion. She’s continued to do well in the ring this year as a milking yearling.

She classified as I would expect a yearling to with a final score of 84. She earned her *M at 21 DIM and is currently one of our does on the 305.

Juno had triplets this spring by Better Wayz EJ Pepper Jay *B +*S and we have retained the only doe born, Key Hill PJ Peach Ghost.

She will be bred to Winning Streak EB Dowa Diddy *B +*S later this fall for May kids

Luna is another doe I posted earlier in the summer and am now re-posting with our senior does.

All the parts and pieces are there and I love how she looks as a yearling first freshener. Now we watch and wait as she matures and comes into her own over the next couple of years.

She kidded in May with triplets by Better Wayz Heart Throb *B +*S - 2 does and 1 buck. Both does are currently retained (Key Hill HT Heiress Energy and Key Hill HT Kiss N Tell)

Luna will be bred to Agape’s Prize Court of Appeal later this year for May kids and will hopefully make her show ring debut next summer

Yearling

I posted Nova earlier in the season, but she’s being posted again as we get into the senior does’ photos.

Nova is a promising little first freshener who has recently been dried off to allow her some more maturing time without any added pressure before breeding season kicks into gear. She’s a slower growing doe, but we have a feeling she’s going to really come into her own around the 3 year old mark. We’re hopeful she’ll be added to our show string next summer!

Earlier this spring, she had triplet bucks sired by Winning Streak R S’thern Gent *B *S

This December she’ll be bred to Key Hill DD Sharp Dressed Man *S

Masterpiece is quite stubborn when he wants to be and has chosen to be so the last two years during photo attempts. When he’s mad at you, he turns his head away, so as you can tell… he’s not happy with me on this day.

I still like to have updated photos yearly, so we get what we get and we don’t get upset!

(2 walking videos will be attached. I accidentally stopped the first one while he was turning around)
