We planted roughly 5500 porcelain garlic yesterday and today.

Our farm stand is now open daily 10-4 while supplies last. 409 Arnold Road in Grafton.
Produce:
Apples, pears, potatoes (red & white), carrots, peppers, onions, butternut & buttercup squash, and pumpkins.

Our honey crisp apple and Concord grape u-picks are still open while supply lasts.

Heading off to our last Kentville Farmers Market for the season.

Marilyn will be at the Kentville Farmers Market tomorrow (Wed. Oct. 6th) from 10am to 1:30pm in Centre Square. It will be our last market in Kentville this year.
She will have:
sweet apple c***r (juice),
pears, apples (honeycrisp ),
cherry & roma tomatoes, green peppers, jalapeno peppers, eggplant,
potatoes, carrots, beets,
kale, cabbage, broccoli,
buttercup squash,
butternut squash, pumpkins,
and onions.

We will still have u-picks at the farm this week Thursday to Monday 10-4 for apples & pears. The farm stand will be open Saturdays 10-4 until Halloween. Squash & pumpkins will be for sale at the stand daily until sold out.

We have lots of lovely Concord grapes for making juice or jelly. $10 for a 5 gallon bucket of grape clusters - U-Pick only. Please bring your own bucket. I have some snips to use to cut your stems, if needed or you can bring your own. Our grapes have been sprayed about 4 times with Nova (an antifungal) for Anthracnose disease in June and July. Let me know if you are interested and what day you would like to come and pick some.

Paul will be at the Back to 1826 Market in Centre Square in Kentville tomorrow (Sat.Oct.3rd) from noon til 4pm selling honeycrisp apples ($1/lb)(5 & 10 lb bags) & a few bottles of honeycrisp apple juice ($5/2 litre jug, pressed today).

We have a lot of Honeycrisp apples still left on our trees! If anyone is interested in picking a bin or half bin and having it pressed into c***r to share with your friends, we would love to offer you a great price. We could easily drop off the bin of apples to the local c***r makers (Foote Family Farm) and can also pick up your c***r order and bring it back to the farm for you to pick up here - if that makes it easier for you. A full bin of Honeycrisp apples makes approximately 120 x 2L jugs. All you need is one or two helpers to pick the apples (it takes two people about 45 min) and some extra freezer space to store the jugs over the winter months.
