Flying Pig Farm

Flying Pig Farm We raise meat birds and turkeys on pasture, seasonally.

Located just outside Bethany, Ontario, we are a couple of empty-nesters living a chaotic life with 4 farm dogs, 3 cats, a small herd of miniature Nubian goats and laying chickens.

It's chick season!! Lots of colour variety this year. The last three older chicks were hatched by a friend who's a teacher-librarian. 11/13 hatched out at her school! So fun for the kids.

Owning goats was a wonderful (and sometimes harrowing) adventure. I don't regret a minute of it. But I'm ready for a new chapter and new adventures...

Big life events sometimes mean big life changes.

We have had goats for almost 10 years and they brought us a great deal of joy. But the time has come to disperse our little herd. We aren't in a big rush, it's important to us that they land well.

So, with no further ado:

Comox Valley Madeleine -- Registered Nubian doe born in spring 2023. First freshener in 2025. Excellent mother. Friendly, sweet girl. Confirmed bred to Rinas Creek Oberon.

Clayson Ridge Beignet -- Registered Nubian doe, born winter 2023. First freshener in 2025. Needed a little support as a first time momma, but adapted well. A bottle-baby, Beignet is in-your-pocket friendly. Confirmed bred to Rinas Creek Oberon.

Flying Pig Apple Fritter -- Registered (MDGA) F1 Mini Nubian doe. Born spring 2025. Dam, Beignet, sire, Bloomingoats T'Mater. Blue eyes. Very friendly. Not bred.

Flying Pig Skye -- Registered Nigerian Dwarf doe born spring 2021. Friendly, mature dam, with excellent mothering instincts. Confirmed bred by Emberglow PN Nym.

Clayson Ridge Delilah -- this diminutive registered Nubian doe, born Dec. 2023, came to us with rampant, undiagnosed coccidiosis. She recovered but has never grown to full stature. She is the bottom of pecking order but is super sweet and friendly. Very gentle with other doe's kids. Unbred.

2 bucks also available:
Rinas Creek Oberon --Registered (MDGA) F3 Mini Nubian originally from Alberta. Born March 2023.

Langhorne XNG Fins Quill -- F2 mini nubian who came from Manitoba. Born May 2025. Registered with HDGA (US). Quill is a little shy but warms up with treats.

All goats have been disbudded, and vaccinated on schedule. Herd tested clean in fall 2024.

Please feel free to message for more information, pricing or more photos.
