We are very pleased to share the launch of the free-of-charge Indigenous greenhouse operations training and support project that our BC Indigenous Advisory Council on Agriculture and Food (IACAF) is sponsoring.
This important initiative is designed to strengthen Indigenous food systems and greenhouse operations by providing tailored, expert guidance from Julian Napoleon, an Indigenous Professional Agrologist and experienced farmer.
What’s Offered:
• One-on-one technical consulting tailored to your greenhouse project
• Advice on greenhouse design, crop planning, and operational best practices
• Support for projects at any stage—planning, construction, or active production
• Opportunity to participate in a provincial peer network with virtual workshops
How to Participate:
If you or your community would like to receive support, or simply learn more, please email Julian Napoleon at [email protected].
Time bound opportunity!
Funding for this project ends March 31, 2026. Please contact Julian as soon as possible as one-on-one support may be limited.
When reaching out, please include:
• Your greenhouse project’s development stage (e.g., planning, construction, operational)
• The type of support you need most (e.g., technical advice, crop selection, greenhouse design)
We encourage you to share this information with others who may benefit. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out directly to Julian. Thank you for your commitment to Indigenous food sovereignty and community resilience.
