Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads, grandpas, and mentors out there!
If you’re the official family grill master, my hope is that someone else is pointing to a lawn chair, handing you a cold drink and taking over the tongs. It's YOUR day to just sit back, relax on the deck, and let the smoke drift over your way.
And if you are the one cooking for Dad today, remember: don't skimp on the sauce, keep an eye on the flames, and make sure his plate is piled the highest.

Everyone has heard the saying "the best things in life aren’t things at all".
For me, they are the quiet traditions we pass down from one generation to the next that just happen naturally.
Watching my Grama Jordan make apple pies at the kitchen table.
Racing around on a Friday evening after work to pack the camper and head to the hills for the weekend. You are tired before you leave the house. But it is OH SO worth it!
Teaching the kids how to cast a fishing line, brewing Willow Bark Tea (it's just plain awful!) or teaching someone how to safely cook over an open fire.
These are moments that stick with us forever.
With Father’s Day just around the corner, an easy thank you would be a bottle of Alberta made Jordan Ridge barbecue Sauces for the "Sweet" Gramps, the "Sweet Jalapeno" Spicy Dad, or the "Maple Campfire" mentors.
The ones who teach us what it means to work hard, take care of the people around us and be a good neighbour.

Tonight Jordan Ridge Sweet BBQ Sauce is my workhorse—it's thick, rich, and sticks to whatever you're throwing over the flames. The bold, smoky undertones balance out the sweetness and create a beautiful caramelized bark on ribs or grilled chicken.
