I’ve never done flowers for a funeral before, but it’s pretty neat to be able to honour someone with the beauty from our land.

It’s so nice to have the sun back! ☀️If any of you are wondering when you drive by to our farm store or see in the background of pictures what the crazy looking mix of stuff is growing, that’s our cover crop! It’s a mix of plants we grow to re-feed the soil and keep it covered. We seed it where we had potatoes before and where the soil is depleted. We’ve noticed a difference in plant health even after a year of sections having a cover crop grown there! And you should hear the bees buzzing in it! 🐝

Farming with littles often isn’t idyllic- it’s frustrating and messy. But the beautiful moments together and getting to show them good slow work and the importance of tending, care, and patience is a gift we get to treasure doing life like this.

August is our busiest season – so much to harvest! All the hard work wouldn’t mean anything without your support though so thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Running a small, all-naturally grown farm has its challenges and we need our community so thank you to all who come to the farmers markets and shop at our farm store!
