👏Congrats to Keaton Phoenix and Ela May genetics on their top 6 finish in the Spring calves at WDE with Lambda Juno! Juno was sold as an embryo to Crave brothers farm. 🔹Her dam Altona Lea Alligator Jett VG-87 2yr was All Canadian Milking Winter Yearling. Same cow family as Altona Lea Unix Herminie EX-97.

💥 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘅 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗘𝗫-𝟵𝟳 (𝟵𝟳-𝗠𝗦) 𝟯𝗘 💥

Just over 40 days fresh after calving for the sixth time, Herminie stepped off the truck and did everything right — standing 🥇1st Aged Cow, Reserve Senior Champion and Honourable Mention Grand Champion against the very best, on the coloured shavings of World Dairy Expo.

When we say she’s an incredible cow, she really is. Eating everything in front of her, while milking 70kg of milk a day, and a dream cow to work with- she's a "𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲".

Congratulations to Dalton J. Faris, and a huge thank you to our entire crew, both at the show and at home, for everything you do. Cows like Herminie make days like this pretty special.

🏆 Altona Lea Unix Herminie wins the Six-Year-Old & Older Cow | International Holstein Show | World Dairy Expo 2026
Judge: Ryan Krohlow | Associate: Kelly Barbee

Milk carried higher at the top of her rear udder gave Altona Lea Unix Herminie the win. Exhibited by Dalton J. Faris of Beaverton, ON, the eight-year-old with six calves is a little more angular, more dairy and cleaner throughout than the balanced, stylish second. Krohlow said she also has more silkiness and bloom right at the top of her udder attachment. She took the class's top udder award too.

We can’t wait to see how the Altona Lea cows do for their owners at the World Dairy Expo.

Atlas was sold in the College Classic Heifer Sale and it’s so wonderful to see her success.

We had a smaller classification day last week but we still had some fantastic results! Here are the highlights:
