Shadow, a cherished horse and faithful friend, left an enduring impact on everyone she met. For 32 years, she generously shared her gentle soul, teaching countless children and adults the value of kindness, trust, and compassion.

As a devoted instructor, Shadow patiently guided riders of all ages and skill levels, introducing them to the joys of horseback riding. Her unwavering calmness and gentle nature made her the perfect mentor, and her legacy is a testament to the countless lives she touched.

Shadow's love language was simple: cookies and scratches behind the ears. She'd do just about anything for a tasty treat or a good scratch, and her affectionate nature made her a beloved companion to all who knew her.

Though Shadow may be gone, her memory will continue to inspire and warm the hearts of everyone she touched. Her selfless spirit, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to those she loved will never be forgotten.

Rest, sweet girl, heaven has a special place for you ๐Ÿฉท

The winter clinic series at Oldfield Acres has come to an end. We wanted to express our gratitude and thanks to Amanda for hosting this group of incredible clinicians and for inviting us to come along. We have had so many successful students this winter! From working on steering and body control with Helen Smith to loping and working on reining basics with Kempton Phillips and those very needed ground control exercises with Danique Henderson (not to mention SO SO much more) . Our students have had rewarding experiences and have gained confidence an techniques that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.

Thank you again for everything and we will see you all again in May!

Thanks to the kids and parents for all of your support and time this winter!

More photos to come!

We will re-open on January 29, 2023.

We would appreciate if any boarders notify barn staff of their visits this coming week, or take a break with us to lessen foot traffic in our absence. Numbers can be found on the whiteboard in the barn this week.

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding!

We had an amazing weekend with the talented Helen Smith. Each rider had their own set of challenged that they worked to improve upon over the weekend. We were fortunate enough to haul a whopping 5 horses and students this weekend! Thank you to all parents and students who put the time and effort in to their education! I'm sure that every single one of you have information to take home and practice. As well as PLENTY of new goals set! Congratulations to all of you on each one of your achievements.

HUGE thank you to Amanda at Oldfield Acres for hosting and for looking out for our students. As always, we had a wonderful time with you :).
