🔸Why orange? Orange bell peppers have a rich, intensely sweet, and distinctly fruity flavor profile that strikes a balance between the mild citrusy notes of yellow peppers and the deep sugar-sweetness of red peppers. Our family consider orange peppers among the sweetest of all bell pepper colors, offering a very juicy and crisp bite without any bitterness! So it makes sense that Victoria would bring you some extra sweetness! 😉
🔸From a marketing perspective this is a colour that is frequently overlooked… and yes, left behind. 😔 Because its colour profile resembles carrots it is frequently discouraged from food preparation in salads, etc to prevent confusion. So sadly, this variety misses out on its opportunity to shine!

⏱ Our regular business operations: Stand operates as “self serve” 7 days a week with a self-payment slot. 💰 *please pay with exact change, cash only* It is restocked throughout the day. PLEASE NOTE: the stand is not restocked on Sundays, so once supply runs out (typically mid-day) it will not be refilled until Monday morning. The front office is open for large orders, Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm, closed on weekends and holidays.
