Important Farm Update below! ⬇️

Sunday, September 27th will be our last day open for this season! We still have green and yellow beans and some vegetables and herbs from the garden available for picking. If you would like to place an order for already picked beans, please call a day in advance so we can pick them special for you and ensure everyone gets what they need to last the winter. Our number is 519-676-2008. Thank you for a wonderful season, we appreciate all of your support!

The pick your own blueberries are closed for the 2026 season. We have had a very light blueberry crop this year due to poor pollination in the spring and extreme winds during the bloom period that knocked off a lot of the flowers. With that being said, it’s been hard for us to keep up with the demand of both keeping our market running with already picked blueberries and allocating enough rows for pick your own. Going forward, we plan to still have already picked blueberries available but the pick your own is finished.
Our peach crop has not amounted to much this year due to frost. We will not have pick your own peaches for this season going forward.
You can however, pick your own green and yellow beans, we’ve got lots of those!
I’d normally say call us before you come so we can give you an update but unfortunately our phone line has been knocked out for a few days. We are patiently waiting for it to be restored so we can stay connected better.

Green and yellow beans are still available. Have you ever froze beans before? It’s simple, just blanch the stemmed beans for a couple of minutes and then transfer to an ice bath to cool. Then pat the beans dry and add them to your freezer bags and into the freezer they go. All winter long you will be able to enjoy the taste of fresh, local green and yellow beans.

The pick your own blueberries will be closed July 31- August 03. We have a light crop of blueberries this year and the ripe blueberries have been picked clean from the bushes. They need time to ripen up again. Please call us Tuesday to see how the blueberries have come along after they take time to rest over the holiday weekend. Hey, sometimes even blueberry bushes need a holiday too 🌱🫐
