Well the rain finally gave me a day out of the tractor today. I can't say I was terribly excited about the rain, but I figured I might as well make the best of it.
So tonight Sam and I gave Alicia the night off from cooking and decided we were making supper.
We took one of our Evergreen Alley round steaks, cut it into strips, battered it and fried it. It was a bit more time consuming than most of the meals I make, but I have to admit it was worth every minute. We made a peppercorn gravy to go with it and there wasn't much left when we were done.
Not a bad way to spend a rainy day.
