Hey folks! Help please!
We were in Shilo a couple weeks ago and someone ordered pork trim cut into 5 lb packages. I don’t have his name on my list, I can picture the fellow but that doesn’t help with a contact!
We are packing up orders this morning and I’m hitting the road so I’d dearly love to get this guy his order too.

Well we had a fantastic Saturday at the Shilo farmers market! Thank you to the hosts for inviting us, we met some amazing people and are excited for the future of this market 🎪

We will be doing a Shilo run, starting with October 4. The goal will be to be at a set location, likely late morning, depending on number of orders.

Feel free to check out the site at evergreenalleyfarms.ca. We have a few new products on there and coming up.

What time is dinner Kristin?

Whole chickens are harvested for the year so what is in the freezer is all we have! Same goes for turkeys. There’s still a handful left 😉

LAST CALL FOR TURKEYS!
The last batch is headed for butcher this week so speak now for your holiday birds. We will fill orders in the order they come in and do our best to get the size you want.
EDIT: we have a handful still available!

Last call for this weeks run!
Typically we can fill orders placed on Wednesdays for delivery that same day, but often this leaves us scrambling 😬 Now that kids are back in school, and the sun is only showing up from 6:30-8:30, the days are BUSY. So we really appreciate orders placed the day before delivery and will do our best for last minute orders, cause we’ve all been there too!

Turkeys are available online
Chickens are available online
Beef preorders are available (message Brian)
Pork is online
And eggs are plentiful!

Well the rain finally gave me a day out of the tractor today. I can't say I was terribly excited about the rain, but I figured I might as well make the best of it.

So tonight Sam and I gave Alicia the night off from cooking and decided we were making supper.

We took one of our Evergreen Alley round steaks, cut it into strips, battered it and fried it. It was a bit more time consuming than most of the meals I make, but I have to admit it was worth every minute. We made a peppercorn gravy to go with it and there wasn't much left when we were done.

Not a bad way to spend a rainy day.

One of the best parts of late summer is the skies,
The second is the food!

Late summer means the freezer is filling up with chickens, turkeys, beef and pork, And the hens are still laying strong so lots of brown eggs. There’s lots of neat photo opportunities around the farm too.

Wednesday is our typical delivery day, pop your order in at evergreenalleyfarms.ca or shoot us a message.

One of the best parts of late summer is the skies,
The second is the food!

Late summer means the freezer is filling up with chickens, turkeys, beef and pork, And the hens are still laying strong so lots of brown eggs. There’s lots of neat photo opportunities around the farm too.
