Art in the Orchard is less than two weeks away now! SEP 26, 11-4
Reveresque is pleased to welcome The Redwater Art Society.

This local group has been championing art in our region for over 40 years. Their members work across a huge range of mediums with a variety of talents.

Come see their work set up right in the orchard rows, and chat with the artists behind the pieces.

This black currant bush is starting to take over my front step. I've heard they're vigorous propagators so I took a few cuttings. Some of the branches had even begun layering themselves so I have a few with strong roots that should establish well.

One of the best w**es Ive ever had was a black currant w**e from DNAgardens. Fortunately the Coronado U-pick had a bumper crop. I'm really looking forward to adding this new variety to the lineup!

These are the aronia berries, just starting the harvest. Only 300 plants, but they're loaded, and the rain this year has made them almost palatable! But don't worry, the w**e is incredible.

The branches are much flimsier than the haskap, so shaking is a little more involved.

And the next batch of cherry is now fermenting strongly

If only all my cherry trees were as loaded as this one. Unfortunately with all the rain this summer, the pollinators couldn't get to all our flowers in time. We're about half the harvest compared to last year.
Thankfully I've met some great people along the way willing to help me by sharing some of their cherries with me. Should have a new batch rolling this week!

After a fantastic opening weekend, we've had quite a few people asking when they can come back out for a flight in the loft or patio. So... we're doing it again.

We're opening the doors for the next two Saturdays, 1–6 PM.

After 9 long years of fixing, building, planting, repairing, replanting, fermenting, filtering, bottling, and occasionally wondering what the hell we were doing, we finally got to open the doors.

And it was extremely gratifying.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate our grand opening during Alberta Open Farm Days, and to everyone who came for the flights, slushies, orchard and loft.

Nine years ago this was just an idea and a very weedy farm.

Now there are people drinking fruit w**e in the orchard.

Honestly, it's a little surreal. Reveresque, even.

Thank you for being part of it. ❤️

I want to give a huge shout out to Andy Reveresque for having us out to the farm for open farm days as well as the opening of his tasting room. It was a great day. If your out in Bon Accord be sure to check out his great set up.
