Flowing Vault was created in collaboration with Lord Atelier Design as part of the design of a remarkable Old Montreal penthouse.

Conceived as a natural extension of the interior architecture, this bespoke wine cellar brings together the beauty of wood and a sculptural approach to design.

Crafted from naturally ebonized red oak, it reveals a deep black finish while preserving the richness and character of the wood grain, without compromising wine preservation.

Inspired by the movement of irregular waves, each curve supports the bottles with fluidity, creating an organic composition that extends seamlessly throughout the glazed enclosure.

A project where architecture, materiality and craftsmanship come together to transform wine storage into an experience.

Thank you to La Pièce for featuring this project and highlighting this inspiring collaboration.

This month, we had the pleasure of hosting the Fine Water Summit in Montreal in collaboration with the Fine Water Society, alongside our partners and sponsors Thunderbird Spirit Water and Altitude Water, two Canadian fine water brands, including one proudly based in Quebec.

Over the course of the summit, participants discovered and tasted 108 waters from 35 different countries, bringing together a global community of sommeliers, restaurateurs, producers, designers and hospitality professionals.

More than a conference, the summit offered a glimpse into what fine water is becoming: a category shaped by terroir, craftsmanship, culture, hospitality, wellness and emotional connection.

From tastings and conferences to immersive experiences, one idea kept resurfacing throughout the weekend: water is no longer “just water.” Every source tells a story, and every mineral composition creates a distinct sensory experience.

A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to making this first Montreal edition such a meaningful moment.

Designed to accommodate over 2,200 bottles, this cellar was conceived as a fully integrated architectural space balancing preservation, functionality, and experience.
In the upper section, peg systems create a refined presentation for part of the collection, while the island dedicated to larger formats subtly evokes traditional champagne riddling desks.
Thermos glazing completes the space, helping guarantee an optimal environment for wine preservation.

This week, Montreal will host the Fine Water Summit in collaboration with the Fine Water Society.
Bringing together professionals and perspectives from hospitality, gastronomy, design, and fine water, the summit will explore the growing role of water as part of the contemporary tasting and hospitality experience.
At Cellart, we believe water is not simply a utility, it is a designed element capable of shaping perception, rhythm, and ritual within a space.
More to come throughout the week.

A Fine Water Masterclass hosted for BFL CANADA, in collaboration with Menu Extra, designed as part of a refined fine dining experience.

Because water is never just water.
For this occasion, it was approached not as a neutral element, but as something that actively shapes the way we taste.

Through a curated selection of fine waters, we explored how origin, mineral composition, and texture influence perception, interacting with each moment of the culinary experience.

A subtle yet powerful layer, bringing more structure, precision, and depth to the table. Once you start noticing it, you can’t un-taste it.

Last week, on the occasion of Earth Day 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting our first Fine Water masterclass in Québec City, at Teknion.

This session brought together architects and designers from the Québec region for a guided tasting of waters sourced from different regions around the world, offering an initial immersion into the diversity of water profiles — in terms of minerality, texture, and structure.

This moment marked the beginning of an important conversation for us: to consider water not merely as a resource, but as a true sensory and cultural experience.

We strongly believe in the potential of Fine Waters — their ability to express terroirs, elevate tasting moments, and bring a new dimension to the art of living.

There are spaces designed to store.
And then there are spaces designed to elevate.

A composition of light, material, and silence —
where each bottle becomes part of a larger architectural narrative.
Rooted in tradition, yet reinterpreted for today —
where timeless craftsmanship meets a more contemporary expression.

At Cellart, we don’t simply design wine spaces.
We shape environments where wine lives, breathes, and becomes experience.

A demonstration of fully refrigerated pull-out units, discreetly integrated into the architecture.

Hidden from light and external conditions, each cabinet preserves wine with precision while remaining almost invisible to the eye — a seamless fusion of protection, design, and surprise.

When extended, the movement reveals far more than storage. It becomes a moment of presentation, where a concealed mechanism transforms into an intentional architectural gesture.

A reminder that true refinement does not always announce itself.
Sometimes, it lies in what is deliberately kept out of sight.
