Okay so this chicken thing turns out to be a bit of a learning curve for me. The ones we get now on the 8th are FROZEN

There are fresh ones that will be ready at the end of the month. If you’d like the fresh ones, please let me know and I’ll change the order for you.

This chicken information is coming out in bits and pieces but, we’re figuring it out. So the colony butchers every 8 weeks. The frozen chickens we are getting are from their September butchering. I want to get their fresh chickens at the end of October and then I’ll probably wait till January or February 2027 to do another load. Hopefully this helps as you consider how much you want to stock up. (Also the price will change after October so keep that in mind as well.)

Good morning!

Thanks to one of you, I was able to find a source that could get us 5-7lb birds for $3.30/lb

Orders are open till October 5th and it looks like we’ll have chickens by October 8th.

(Raised without antibiotics or hormones)

Let me know how many you’d like. Your total will be available at pickup since we don’t know the exact weights yet.
