Sweet smiles for quince!

These tart beauties will be part of this year’s Doppel Jack batch.

Once Cori’s gone through them by hand and trimmed off any imperfections Jim will press them and start the fermentation process.

We’ll be sure to leave a few for the Owl and the Pussycat too 🌚 🥄

It’s all about apples this weekend on Bowen Island, with fun in store for the whole family!

On Saturday Bowen Heritage is hosting an Apple Pie baking competition. Bake an extra pie with your family and enter the contest at Davies Orchard (behind Tuscany)! Bragging rights could be yours for the year, plus you’ll get to support the heritage society fundraiser, and taste some delicious pies!

On Sunday from 1-3 we have Grace playing the harp in our orchard garden (on Laura Rd), our crew will be doing an apple pressing demonstration, and we’ll have our famous tastings with Frank!

See you in the orchard 🍎 🥧 ♥️ 🪉

Did you know that we have over 900 varietals of apple trees on our property? The largest collection in BC!

Bundy’s Ringwood Red is beautiful marbled red-fleshed apple discovered in Ringwood UK by an estate gardener, who named it after the late owner & friend.

Open till 5 today if you want to pop by!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the fantastic women all over the world that fill our days with sunshine, and lives with love ♥️🌹🫠

If you’re on Bowen this weekend we’re open for Frank’s fabulous tastings 12-5 today, tomorrow and Monday! Our apple trees are full of bees and blossoms, and our stone patio is sunny and warm.

Bring a picnic and stay awhile. We’d love to see you!
