🍎 🍯 A Honeycrisp Update from Farmer J 🍯 🍎
This weekend, we will be opening ONLY a portion of our Honeycrisp for pick-your-own.
Although many of the apples are ready and looking beautiful, some simply need a little more time on the trees to reach the flavour, colour and quality we expect. We take great pride in the apples we grow and do not want to offer fruit before it is truly ready—Mother Nature can’t be rushed!
We want to be completely transparent so that every family visiting Maple Grove Orchards has the best experience possible. If you have visited us before, you know that Honeycrisp is our most sought-after variety, and we tend to get picked out very quickly!
🍎We grow approximately 2,500 Honeycrisp trees across 44 rows. The crop is plentiful, but nature sets the schedule.
A selection of our rows will open this weekend, with the remaining Honeycrisp expected to open next weekend.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support. I will keep sharing updates on our social media pages and website as more rows become ready for picking.
For now,
Farmer J 👩🏼🌾✌🏻
