This September, we’re bringing together residents, community organizations, municipal leaders, and neighbours from across Muskoka for a powerful day of dialogue and discovery.

Poverty in Muskoka is a community awareness event exploring the realities of poverty, how it affects individuals and families, locally. The goal? That every person who walks through the door leaves with new knowledge and real actions to take.

This event is for EVERYONE. Whether you’re a frontline worker, a decision maker, a volunteer, or simply someone who cares about Muskoka, your voice belongs in this conversation. 💬

Thanks to the generosity of our community, the dedication of our volunteers, and the support of Bracebridge Tim Hortons owners Laura and Kevin Francis, this year's Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign raised an amazing $18,955 for Manna Food Bank!

Together, you've helped ensure that local individuals and families have access to the food and support they need.

This cheque represents more than a dollar amount—it represents kindness, compassion, and a community that shows up for one another when it matters most.

From Apr. 27 – May 3, every Smile Cookie you buy at a Bracebridge Tim Hortons will help Manna Food Bank provide meals and support to families right here in our community.

What may feel like a small treat can go a long way — helping stock shelves, support neighbours, and make sure no one goes without.

Riding for a cause 🚴‍♂️💛

Since 2018, the Muskoka Off Road Cycling Association (MORCA) has been connecting people to fitness and the outdoors through their incredible network of trails across central Muskoka—maintained year-round by a passionate group of volunteers.

Recently, MORCA riders came together to give back in another meaningful way, donating over 200 pounds of food and personal care items to support Manna.

Yvonne Haefling with Pampered Chef stopped by Manna to drop off bread and soup combination kits—just add a couple of cups of water and you’ve got a warm, delicious meal ready to enjoy.

Community showing up for community 💛

A big thank you to Geoff Foster of Foster Tattoo for an incredible contribution — $1,000 and 60 pounds of food donated to Manna.

This support came from their recent Friday the 13th event, where flash tattoos were offered in exchange for a minimum $50 donation and a food contribution. What a creative and meaningful way to give back.

We’re so grateful to Geoff and the entire Foster Tattoo team — and to everyone who participated — for turning art into impact.

A huge thank you to the amazing team at Food Basics Bracebridge for their generosity and community spirit. Through their Christmas fundraising campaign, they presented Manna with a cheque for $10,134.00 along with $1,324.00 in gift cards.

What an incredible way to kick off the spring — and a powerful reminder of what community support looks like in action.

Thank you for standing with us and helping make a real difference for those in need.
