As part of Truth & Reconciliation Week 2025, our friends at the Brandon Friendship Centre have sponsored the first ever IndigiVibe Night at TRW2025 on Thursday, October 2nd, starting at 5:30 pm. This free event will be taking place at the Fusion Credit Union Stage.
We are encouraging people to come in traditional and/or contemporary Indigenous attire or Regalia for the showcasing to start off the evening. Come learn about different Indigenous apparel as participants showcase their stye. ALL are welcome to participate in showcasing! Following that will be two contemporary Indigenous artists for a free concert.
Jesse R Genaille is an Indigenous country singer-songwriter recording artist from Swan River and a member of the Keeseekoose First Nation. He has performed throughout SK and MB his first single Second Hand Flowers hit #1 on the Indigenous Music Charts. He was honored to win NCI Jam in 2019 and Stead Ranch Got Talent in 2024. His music is available on all music streaming sites.
Julianna Moore is a Singer originally from Saint Lazare, Mb but now living in Brandon. She began singing publicly at the young age of 7, but her love and passion for music began long before that. Julianna has participated in numerous talent competitions and recently auditioned for Canadaโs Got Talent! She is so excited to share her wide variety of music with you!
We will also have some artist vendors on site as well as Indigenous Eats!
