We would like to acknowledge March 8th as International Women’s Day!
I grew up with 4 amazing sisters and a very strong mother. My bakery life of 36 years has included many many amazing women. The hours can be long and the seasons grueling and it takes a special group to get the baking done and help all the customers.
Thanks for everything you all do!
It would be impossible the do what is kneaded without you 😀

Happy New Year to the best staff and best customers and clients in all of Westman !
The support over this year and every year has been amazing. We feel proud to be part of your traditions, weekly family suppers and daily sugar fixes!
We support our community and the community supports us. It’s an honour to own a business here and be involved with so many groups and people.
We are closed for renovations and open again
Monday January 5th.
Sorry for any inconvenience to everyone but it was much needed improvements to the bakery.
2026 will be an amazing year and I wish nothing but the best to all of you!

It’s a bit of a snowy day out there but we are Open
Noon until 7pm!
Monday we are open 7 am until 7pm
Tuesday 7 am until 7pm
Wednesday 7 am until 4 pm

We are looking for a baker for a full time position.
It’s an oven baker specifically.
Someone who can lift sandwich pans which are
22 pounds filled with dough.
Smaller bread pans and pans with buns, cookies and other pastries are not as heavy.
The key skills are listening to instructions properly, learning when baking is ready to go into the oven and out when it’s golden brown!
Its a demanding position but also a rewarding one.
It’s long hours on your feet and the shift is 6am until 2pm Monday to Friday.
We do have benefits and it could be a very good job for the right candidate.
The wage would be $20-25 depending on being positive and willing to learn with a the right skills.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all of you!
Thanks so much for the continued support.
It was an extremely busy time for us and the staff were so impressive with everything they did.
I was very proud of them all.
Yesterday I went in to bake some buns, shortbread cookies and some butter tarts.
We did run out of everything but at least more people managed to get something that they may not have.
We are closed until Sunday so we can rest up and be ready to bake again for you. We will be open Sunday noon until 7 pm.
Also open Monday, Tueaday and Wednesday 7 am to 7pm.
We love serving the community and being part of many families traditions. Many people have to have our buns, cookies and squares at Christmas which we love.
Cherish the time together and make some memories that can last forever !
We appreciate you all.
