Blackie's Suffolks Registered Purebred Suffolk Sheep Flock. Located in Florenceville- Bristol New Brunswick. All of or flock have strong British style genetics.

We have a flock of 50 registered purebred suffolk sheep located in Florenceville- Bristol New Brunswick. We are 2.5 hrs from Riviere du Loup or 1.5 hours from Fredericton at exit 153. We are on Genovis and we have all our lambs ultrasounded to help determine muscle structure and fat deposit which is shown in the Terminal Index. In addition we have all of our flock genotyped. All of our lambs are either AA/RR/RR or AA/RR/QR. Pour information en francais demander pour Cecile.

Had a hard time getting our new herdsman "Cap" used to the farm truck. Seems to be settling in now.

Thought I would send a couple of pictures just to let you know we are still here. The photographer spent too much time in the recliner over the winter months.

Just got the sheep sheared at the beginning of this week. Amber and Peter did a great job shearing them. The first night was -8 celcius so we found out where the warmest parts of the barn were.
